Discover our first Escape:

A Pilates Retreat at Ryokan Namô in Normandy (June 2026)

Discover the pleasure of a free and intelligent body in an expert, luminous and calm setting.

Stop exhausting yourself. Start strengthening. Welcome.

Our mission is to help you discover the fundamental difference between exhaustion and strengthening. In our studios, designed as a peaceful pause, we combine the rigor of the original Pilates method, as developed by Joseph Pilates, with an expert and modern approach to movement. Here there is no quest for performance, but a quest for precise movement.

Here, we are not chasing performance, but seeking true, authentic movement. Each session is an intense and focused practice where precision and control engage every muscle fiber. Our classes help you strengthen your body safely, improve your posture, relieve pain (especially back pain), and bring more ease to your everyday movements, all without ever stressing or harming your body.

Whether you are looking to sculpt your body, relieve tensions or regain vitality, our small-group approach of 4 to 5 people or personal coaching guarantees attentive listening and personalized follow-up. We celebrate every progress in an environment where excellence is a pleasure. Welcome to our community.

The benefits of Pilates

Strengthens breathing and concentration

In Pilates, breathing is more than a backdrop: it is the engine of every movement. We teach you to master it so that it becomes the energy that engages your core, stabilises your body and multiplies your power. Each inhalation is preparation, each exhalation a controlled action. This conscious practice of the breath turns your session into a moving meditation, releasing tensions and sharpening your focus.

Improve posture

Pilates deeply sculpts the postural muscles, your true natural core that supports the spine. By strengthening this ‘stability belt,’ the body straightens and lengthens, naturally and effortlessly. Your head carriage becomes more upright, and your gait more confident. Pains related to poor daily habits subside, giving way to a lasting sense of support, balance, and deep grounding.

Tones the deep muscles

Pilates does not aim for raw performance, but rather balance. By targeting deep muscles, it sculpts a harmonious physique: firmer, more balanced, and more aligned. The movements are precise, controlled, and gently yet profoundly strengthen the body.

Enhances flexibility

Pilates gently lengthens and increases the body’s flexibility. It mobilizes the joints and promotes a greater range of motion. You discover (or rediscover) the pleasure of moving without stiffness. Thanks to fluid and progressive stretches, you gain mobility, range of motion, and comfort. Gradually, tensions subside, and movements become lighter, more comfortable, and freer.

Reduces stress and promotes relaxation

Practicing Pilates means dedicating a moment just for yourself. It’s about slowing down, breathing, and moving with intention. You set aside distractions, screens, and stress… to return to the essentials: movement, breath, and self-awareness. It is a gentle practice that allows you to release accumulated tensions, regain a state of serenity, and leave each session feeling both relaxed and energized.

Improves balance and coordination

Pilates develops a fine awareness of the body in motion. Every exercise engages several muscle chains simultaneously, which stimulates balance, coordination, and proprioception (sense of space). You learn to move better, to inhabit your body more. These benefits carry into everyday life: you feel more stable, more responsive, more aligned. And this shows in the way you walk, move and even breathe.

What they say…

As both a surgeon and a patient, I can probably claim to have a professional understanding of the quality of work in this field. After one month of practising Pilates with Hélène, I highly recommend her as a Pilates instructor. Hélène is efficient, professional, and deeply human. She has helped me understand my body better and has managed to make me feel physically – and also mentally – in a better state than I have been in a long time.

My experience with Helene has been nothing short of kind/pleasant. I am on my second month of private lessons with Helene and she has been very patient encouraging. I am recovering from foot surgery and the lessons have increased my range of motion. With each lesson, I’m becoming more aware of muscles that I didn’t know I had!

When I began working with Hélène, I was (and still am) a stroke survivor. I suffered a severe stroke two years ago that affected both sides of my body.

Hélène’s training in Classical Pilates enables her to work safely and effectively with injured individuals like me. She is remarkable and has the expertise required to tailor the exercises to my needs. She works to improve my range of motion, rebuild new mind–body connections, and strengthen areas of weakness. Now that I can walk, I am able to go up and down stairs safely. She has a sensitive yet direct way of envisioning (I could even say designing) the best combination of exercises to achieve the best possible results for someone in my condition. She is truly results-driven.

I began doing pilates with Helene about six months ago, after being completely new to pilates six months earlier. My son is six years old, and because I have a very active lifestyle with yoga, cycling, hiking and swimming, I assumed that my pelvic floor and low back issues would resolve themselves. Once I finally accepted that this wasn’t the case, I came to pilates. the exercises have completely changed many aspects of my body, and pilates with Helene has specifically addressed my pelvic floor issues, even these many years after the birth of my son. I learn something new from Helene every week and she is a precise and encouraging teacher. Her knowledge of pilates technique is superb and her methods are unique. I am so much stronger since I began my Pilates practice with Helene and in so much less pain. I can’t recommend working with her enough and I look forward to our sessions together all week!
